Alden Records Third Consecutive Shut-Out
This past Friday the Bulldogs traveled to Medina to face the Mustangs. Viewed as one of the best quarterbacks in the state the Bulldogs were prepared to handle Levi Pace. His favorite target Nick Peterson was held to very minimal catches and yards. The game started very sloppy for the bulldogs with turnovers, missed blocking assignments, and special teams miscues. The resilient Alden defense made many stops inside their own twenty yard line. At the half the Bulldogs had a slim lead 6-0. All were frustrated with their own game play and were determined to make changes for the second half. The Mustangs could not handle the powerful running play of the Bulldogs this time. The final score was 35-0 as the Bulldogs cruised to their 5th straight victory. Touchdowns were scored by: Schwartz(2) Stoldt(1) Huston(1) Barczykowski (1). Updated rankings will be released Tuesday as Alden looks to move up. Congrats to the whole team!

Homecoming Abuse
The Alden Bulldogs and the Tonawanda Warriors took to the field Friday September 26th. It was the Bulldogs homecoming game and they were all determined to keep their undefeated season. There are not many other words to use besides a major a$$ whooping the bulldogs gave the warriors. The final score was 53-0. Touchdowns were scored Schwartz(3) Garbacz (2) Falter(1) Delzer(1) Huston(1). The defense was dominant all night long. The Warriors didn't complete one pass, while they did throw three interceptions (Schwartz,Delzer,Huston). Even though they didn't get any of the glory the offensive line controlled the line of scrimmage. Congrats to all the bulldogs! The next game is Friday October 3rd in Medina at 7:30. We need all the people we can get to show up to cheer us on.
